Melissa Buxton

Melissa Buxton, MBA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Friends of the Children - Portland since September 2022. Prior to this role, Melissa held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Greater Than from 2010 until September 2022. Melissa's career in finance began at Friends of the Children-National, where Melissa worked as a Finance Manager from May 2006 to June 2010, and previously as a Finance Manager at Friends of the Children from May 2000 to January 2004. Melissa holds a Master of Business Administration from Pacific University and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Simpson University.
