Ashley Schaeffer Yildiz is an experienced environmental advocate focused on sustainable food production and the impacts of industrial agriculture. Currently serving as the Stop Factory Farm Finance Senior Campaigner at Friends of the Earth U.S., Yildiz works on global initiatives to shift public finance away from industrial animal agriculture. Previous roles include Campaign Strategist at Thousand Currents and Factory Farming Divestment Campaign Consultant at Friends of the Earth, where Yildiz developed strategies to enhance Agroecology in Africa and explored factory farm divestment campaigns. A track record includes significant campaigns with Rainforest Action Network, Greenpeace, and Green Corps, emphasizing corporate accountability and responsible food systems.
