Tamika Maultsby

Tamika Maultsby is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in compliance, strategic planning, and program management. Currently serving as Deputy Chief of Staff at Friendship Public Charter School since April 2006, Tamika assists in developing and implementing organizational strategies and policies while preparing updates for senior management. Previously, as Director of Compliance, Tamika ensured adherence to local and federal regulations across six campuses and managed significant federal grant applications. Tamika's tenure at District of Columbia Public Schools included roles as Senior Management and Program Analyst and Program Coordinator, where significant budget management and community outreach initiatives were established. Tamika began a career with the NAACP as National Youth Council Coordinator, focusing on youth development and activism. Tamika holds a JD from Texas Southern University's Thurgood Marshall School of Law and a BA in English from Hampton University.
