Simon Mandeleyl has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Simon started their career in 1999 serving in the Israeli Defence Forces Navy as a Sergeant Major, where they were responsible for editing tactical information and leading the Navigation and Communication Department on the Dolphin Submarine. In 2005, they worked as a 6th Grade English Teacher at Kornpitack Suksa School. From 2010 to 2013, Simon worked as a Testing Technician at the Standards Institute of Israel. In 2014, they joined The Public Knowledge Workshop as an Android Developer, focusing on front-end code development using Java for an application that accessed and manipulated budgetary data for municipalities in Israel. In 2013, Simon joined FLIR Systems as a C# Developer, where they developed infrastructure for simulation scenarios and acquired skills in SQL, C++/CLI, and Multi-Threading. Since 2016, Simon has been at Friendsurance, initially as a Software Engineer and currently as a Senior Software Engineer.
Simon Mandeleyl completed their Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition to their degree, they obtained a certification in Teaching ESL (English as a Secondary Language) from the United Educational Consultants, TEFL Institute.
