Marina La Verghetta

Marina La Verghetta has a diverse work experience in the art industry. Marina started their career at the David Roberts Art Foundation as a Curatorial Assistant, where they assisted in research and development of future programs. Marina also worked at the Simon Lee Gallery as an Artist Manager Assistant, managing relationships with clients and institutions. Marina later joined Drawing Room Confessions as an Editorial Assistant, responsible for organizing and transcribing conversations with artists. Marina then worked at Beyond Entropy Ltd., assisting in research and curation of projects across Europe, Africa, and the Mediterranean. Marina has also held roles at Apartment Project, OSMAN, Italian Pavilion, and Self-Employed, where they curated exhibitions, contributed to research, and worked as a copyeditor. Their most recent position is at Frieze as a Creative Producer, responsible for production coordination. Marina La Verghetta has a diverse educational background. Marina completed their Bachelor's degree in Art History & Communication Studies, with a focus on Humanistic Studies, at McGill University from 2006 to 2009. Before that, they obtained a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Liberal Arts from Marianopolis College in 2004. Marina further pursued their studies and earned a Master's degree in Cultural & Creative Industries from King's College London in 2011.
