Christie Cooley

Christie Cooley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Christie is currently the Vice President of Sales for the East Region at Frog Street, a position they have held since 2022. Previously, from 2021 to 2022, Christie worked as the Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging at Newsela.

Before that, Christie spent several years at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, starting in 2016 as a Sales Enablement Director, where they were responsible for delivering key training programs and developing certification initiatives. Christie held this role until 2020.

Prior to their role as Sales Enablement Director, Christie held various positions at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, including Director of Solutions Management from 2012 to 2014, Federal Funding Consultant from 2010 to 2012, and Senior Sales Consultant from 2008 to 2010.

Christie Cooley holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Child Development from Spelman College, which they obtained from 1990 to 1994. Christie then pursued further education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where they obtained a Master of Education (Ed.M.) degree in Risk and Prevention from 1995 to 1996. Furthermore, Christie Cooley has recently obtained a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education, although the specific month of completion is not provided.
