Anthony Lai

Anthony Lai has extensive work experience in the technology and aerospace industries. Starting in 1992, they worked at Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Member of Technical Staff for eight years. In 2000, they became a Software Manager at WinSoft, followed by various leadership roles at Aitech Defense Systems Inc., including Chief Operating Officer of the Space Business Sector and VP of Space Systems until 2010.

From 2011 to 2012, Lai worked as a Business Development professional at Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company and as a Self-Employed Space Hardware Consultant.

In 2012, they joined Physical Optics Corporation as the Division General Manager and VP, where they successfully managed the development and manufacturing of avionics systems, leading the division to a tenfold growth over eight years. Anthony also played a key role in merging two divisions and effectively managing the overall profit and loss statement.

Lai then served as the Business and R&D Director for Space at Aitech Systems from 2021 to 2022, before transitioning to their current role as the Chief Architect at Frontgrade Technologies in 2022.

Throughout their career, Lai has demonstrated strong leadership skills, adaptability, and expertise in the technology and aerospace sectors.

Anthony Lai completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Applied Mathematics at UC Irvine from 1989 to 1993. Anthony then pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Signal Processing, at UCLA from 1993 to 1995.
