Paul Holmes

Paul Holmes has a rich and diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Paul began their career at Loral Fairchild Systems in 1984 as a Staff Engineer where they were responsible for the design and test of mixed analog/digital servo control cards and power amplifiers for an airborne Electro Optical reconnaissance system. Paul also trained foreign customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. In 1994, Paul joined Lockheed Martin Fairchild Systems as a Senior Staff Engineer, leading the line of sight stabilization efforts for airborne reconnaissance Electro-Optical imaging systems. Paul was responsible for both inertial and strap down configurations for pod and aircraft payload installations. During their time there, they also led the redesign effort for the next generation strap down imaging system, resulting in improved line of sight stabilization.

In 2000, Paul moved to BAE Systems and assumed the role of a Principle Systems Engineer. As a systems engineer, they had technical experience in avionics systems and was well-versed in the complete product development life cycle. Paul contributed to all phases of product development, from writing technical proposals to the delivery of electro-mechanical systems. Their expertise extended to project management, document preparation, systems analysis, testing, and problem-solving.

Paul transitioned to Cobham Advanced Electronic Solutions in 2014 and held two roles within the company. Initially, they served as a Sr. Electrical Engineer, leveraging their skills to contribute as a vital team member until 2018. Later on, they took on the position of a Test Engineering Manager, further showcasing their managerial abilities. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the testing processes within the company.
