Svetlana Kholodar

Svetlana Kholodar has extensive work experience in the field of biomedical research. Svetlana is currently employed as a Scientist II (Biophysics) at Frontier Medicines, a position they started in March 2022. Prior to this, Svetlana co-founded 153 Therapeutics in June 2021, where they held a leadership role. From November 2017 to March 2022, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at the University of California, San Francisco - School of Medicine. Svetlana also gained research experience as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at The University of Iowa from June 2015 to November 2017. Svetlana completed their PhD in 2015 at the University at Buffalo, where they worked as a PhD Candidate from September 2010 to May 2015. Additionally, Svetlana worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute of Chemical Biology and Fundamental Medicine SB RAS from September 2005 to June 2010. Svetlana also gained industry experience as a Summer Intern at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in June 2008.

Svetlana Kholodar earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University at Buffalo, where they studied from 2010 to 2015. Before that, they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemistry at Novosibirsk State University (NSU) from 2004 to 2009. Additionally, in August 2015, Svetlana obtained a certification in Duolingo Italian Fluency: Intermediate (Estimated) from Duolingo.
