Jake Jendel

Jake Jendel is an experienced professional in the field of geospatial engineering, currently serving as Applied Geospatial Engineering Manager - UAS at Frontier Precision since September 2021, following roles as Applied Geospatial Engineer – UAS and UAV Operator - Sales and Services Support Specialist. Prior to this, Jake held the position of Director of Aerial Surveying & Mobile Mapping at 1519 Surveying, LLC from September 2019 to September 2021, overseeing the geospatial division and managing project deliverables. Between March 2015 and September 2019, Jake served as Mobile LiDAR Manager at Gorrondona & Associates, Inc., utilizing advanced mapping technologies to generate engineering designs and asset management solutions. Jake's earlier experience includes a role as GIS LiDAR Specialist at BNSF Railway, focusing on data collection for Positive Train Control, and a GIS Specialist/Park Ranger Intern position with the Student Conservation Association. Jake holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography from the University of North Texas (2005-2010) and completed training at Dart Drones in 2016.
