Mr. Kirklen joined the agency in 2020 with more than 17 years of experience as a case manager, therapist, and program administrator in adult behavioral and mental health. Mr. Kirklen holds a Bachelor's in psychology from Eastern Michigan University and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University. As Director of Behavioral Health and Forensic Services, he oversees homeless street outreach and case management for those living with severe mental illness, substance use disorder, and homelessness. These services include homelessness prevention and ongoing behavioral health services for those re-entering the community after experiencing incarceration.
