Prior to this, they served as a Vice President at TCG Consulting, where they were responsible for global delivery services and driving innovation in travel, meetings, payment, and expense services. Before that, Ruben worked as a Senior Manager at Charles Schwab and held managerial positions in supply management at TD Ameritrade. Ruben also has experience in account management and freelance writing for ESPNW. Ruben began their career as a Field Organizer for the NY Democratic Party and worked as an Arena Reporter for USCHO. Ruben also served as a Paralegal Intern at the Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York, Inc. throughout 2007. Ruben Leavitt earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and Political Science from Colgate University from 2004 to 2008. Ruben then pursued further education at the University of Oxford, where they obtained a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) degree in Political Theory from 2008 to 2010. Ruben completed a certificate program in Business 360 (Online) Accelerate Your Impact at Columbia Business School in 2018. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Effective Negotiating Seminar from KARRASS® Effective Negotiating in 2018 and as an On-Ice Official from USA Hockey in 2011.
