Kristian Nolde, PhD, has a Bachelor's degree in General Engineering Sciences from Hamburg University of Technology, which they obtained in 2001. Kristian then pursued a Dipl. Ing. (MSc) in Systems Engineering from the same university, completing it in 2003. During their studies, they also spent a year at Harvard University's Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, focusing on Engineering. In 2001, they conducted a Diploma Thesis at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Nolde later obtained their PhD in Automatic Control and Electrical Engineering from ETH Zürich in 2008.
