Karen Farrell

Karen A. Farrell is a seasoned human resources executive with extensive experience in talent management, compensation, and organizational development. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at FuelCell Energy since August 2023, Karen previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Talent & Total Rewards at CWT, where leadership of talent management strategies and functions was key. Karen’s career at Boehringer Ingelheim spanned over two decades, during which multiple roles included Vice President of Total Rewards US, overseeing a comprehensive rewards strategy and leading a team dedicated to talent acquisition and management for a large global workforce. Earlier experiences include managerial roles in human resources at Diversified Investment Advisors and Prudential Relocation, focusing on employee relations and compliance. Karen holds a BA in Psychology from Cedar Crest College and an MS in Human Resources & Organizational Development from Manhattanville University.
