Abbas Hussain

Abbas Hussain currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at FuGENE since February 2024. Prior to this role, Abbas held a position in Business Development at Charles River Laboratories from August 2022 to December 2023. Abbas also has an extensive background in corporate development, having spent over a decade as the Senior Director of Corporate Development at Allele Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals Inc. from March 2010 to July 2022. Abbas earned both a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts in History (Near East Studies) from UC San Diego between 2005 and 2009.
