David Stewart has a diverse work experience in the biotechnology and manufacturing industries. David is currently employed at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies as the SVP of Operational Alignment & Process Technology. Prior to this, they held leadership positions at KBI Biopharma, where they served as the Sr. Vice President and Site Head, and AGC Biologics, where they were the General Manager and Site Head. David also worked at Biogen as a Senior Director and a Director, overseeing quality, program management, and operational readiness. David has previous experience at Genentech, where they held various roles including Director of Manufacturing Sciences & Technology and Associate Director of Capital Project Delivery. Additionally, they worked at Sanofi Pasteur and Callaway Golf in automation engineering and controls engineering positions, respectively.
David Stewart has a diverse education history that spans several years and includes different fields of study. In 1990, they attended the Naval Aviation Technical Training College and pursued a degree in Electronics/Avionics. Following this, from 1991 to 1995, they studied at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. In 2004, David enrolled at Indiana State University, where they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Process Control between 2004 and 2007. In 2015, they briefly pursued Cellular Bioprocess Technology at the University of Minnesota. More recently, in 2020 and 2021, David attended the Quantic School of Business and Technology, where they pursued a degree in Business Administration and Management, General, specifically an Executive Master of Business Administration (eMBA).
