Jake de Thier

Jake De Thier currently serves as a Senior Principal Scientist at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since August 2022. Previously, Jake worked as a Fermentation Scientist at Syngenta from January 2020 to June 2022, focusing on the development of microbial fermentation processes for proteins related to GM crop registration projects. Jake completed a Ph.D. in Recombinant-Protein Based Pesticides at Durham University from 2015 to 2019, after earning a Bachelor's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Newcastle University (2012-2015). Jake's academic journey began at Sha Tin College, where education was completed from 2008 to 2012.
