Sanela Smajilovic

Sanela Smajilovic is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in microbiology and method development. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies, Sanela specializes in bioassay method development and validation. Previously, Sanela held the position of Principal Scientist at Chr. Hansen, leading new product development projects and collaborating with various stakeholders. Experience at Chr. Hansen also included roles as Senior Research Scientist, focusing on the development and optimization of microbiological analytical methods. Prior to this, Sanela worked at Novo Nordisk A/S as a Microbiologist, providing microbiological support to quality control and production.
