Jason McKenna

Jason McKenna, SPHR has extensive work experience in various HR roles. Jason currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer & Vice President of Travel at FUJIFILM Holdings America Corporation. Before joining FUJIFILM, they worked as a Managing Partner at Tripel Performance Solutions.

Prior to that, McKenna held multiple roles at Philips. Jason served as the Global Head of Human Resources for Sleep & Respiratory Care, where they were responsible for developing strategic HR plans and acting as a global business partner to the executive team. Jason also held positions as Director and Senior Manager of HR Business Partner at Philips.

Earlier in their career, McKenna worked at Highmark Inc., where they held various HR leadership positions. These included Director of HR Administration, Manager of HR Strategy and Program Management, Human Resources Consultant, and Leadership and Career Development Consultant.

Before transitioning to the private sector, McKenna served as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Major.

Overall, McKenna has a wealth of experience in human resources, with expertise in strategic HR planning, talent management, program management, and leadership development.

Jason McKenna, SPHR, has a diverse educational background that includes various degrees and certifications. Jason began their education at the University of Central Florida, where they obtained a BA in Liberal Studies from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they attended the US Army Aviation School from 1996 to 1997 to obtain an Aviator Certification/License in Helicopter Training.

In 2004, McKenna enrolled at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and obtained an MA in Industrial and Labor Relations from 2004 to 2005. Jason then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Administration & Leadership Studies from the same university, starting in 2006 and continuing until 2014. While pursuing their Ph.D., they also completed a Masters Certificate in Project Management at the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business in 2010.

McKenna continued their education by obtaining various certifications. In 2008, they became a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) through the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Jason further expanded their expertise by completing the Certified Executive Coach program at the Center for Executive Coaching in 2014. Additionally, they participated in the Advanced Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2018.

Furthermore, McKenna acquired additional certifications, such as the Strategic HR Business Partner certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in 2016 and the ODC - Organizational Design certification from ODC - Organizational Design Community in December 2017.
