David Langer has held a variety of roles in the waste management industry since 1999. In 1999, they were a Senior Associate at Hilton Farnkopf & Hobson, where they prepared RFPs and franchise agreements for solid waste, recycling and green waste collection services, developed and implemented city recycling and construction & demolition programs, and managed recycling and source reduction audits. In 2001, they founded DAL Dimensions, a consulting firm focused on program design and implementation, with a strong background in solid waste management solutions and diversion program development. In 2002, they became the General Manager at Allied Waste Services / BFI of Alameda County, where they managed a $45M dollar solid waste and recycling collection company with 115 employees. In 2005, they became the Vice President and COO of Goalson Development Corporation, where they managed a $3M dollar plastic processing and recycling company with 25 employees. From 2007 to 2012, they were the President of L4 Strategies, Inc. / dba DAL Dimensions, providing consulting focused on operational design and implementation, with a strong background in solid waste management solutions and diversion program development. Finally, in 2012, they became the Feedstock Processing Facility Operations Manager at Fulcrum BioEnergy, Inc., a leading company in the development of the next-generation of transportation biofuel production in the United States.
David Langer attended California State University, Northridge from 1985 to 1991 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Occupational Health.
