Regina Ciolek

Director Of Intellectual Property, Patent Attorney at Fulcrum Therapeutics

Regina Ciolek has over 20 years of experience in the field of intellectual property and patent law. Regina currently serves as an Associate Director and Patent Attorney at Fulcrum Therapeutics since August 2021. Prior to their current role, Regina was an Associate Intellectual Property Counsel at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from December 2016 to July 2021. Regina also worked as an Intellectual Property Counsel at Konarka Technologies from April 2005 to June 2011, where they managed and prosecuted patent applications, communicated with outside counsel, and collaborated with inventors and management to advance intellectual property. Regina's earlier experience includes working as part of the Intellectual Property/Patents team at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where they worked with foreign agents and outside counsel for patent prosecution, interpreted chemical compounds for in-house patent filing, and analyzed patents for research advancement.

Regina Ciolek holds a Master of Science degree in Chemistry from Brandeis University and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Suffolk University Law School. Regina is also admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, certified by the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers, and holds a certification as a United States Patent Attorney from the USPTO.
