Sucheta Chitnis

Sucheta Chitnis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Since September 2021, they have been serving as the Vice President of Group Corporate Strategy at Garware Fulflex India Private Limited. Prior to that, they held the position of Vice President of Group Corporate Strategy at Garware Holdings Limited from September 2018 to March 2022, where they were responsible for defining growth strategies, maximizing revenue and profits, and managing various functions such as finance, accounting, and corporate governance.

Before joining Garware Holdings Limited, Sucheta worked as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Garware Bestretch Limited from July 2018 to March 2022, where they played a key role in financial management and control. Sucheta also served as the Chief Financial Officer and Finance Controller at the same company from April 2017 to September 2020 and from August 2012 to March 2017, respectively.

Prior to their roles at Garware Bestretch Limited, Sucheta served as the Head of Finance & Accounts at Garware Motors from August 2010 to July 2012. Sucheta also worked as Deputy Manager at Garware Bestretch Limited from December 2009 to July 2010.

Earlier in their career, Sucheta gained valuable experience as a Senior Account Manager at Encore Enterprises from July 2007 to November 2009, where they handled various finance and accounting responsibilities including project due diligence, lease agreements, and consolidation of retail entities. Sucheta also worked as a Tax Associate at H&R Block from October 2005 to May 2006 and as a Consultant at Seven Hills Incorporation from January 2005 to May 2006.

Throughout their career, Sucheta has demonstrated their expertise in finance, strategic planning, corporate governance, and operational efficiency.

Sucheta Chitnis completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree at Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce from 1992 to 1997. Sucheta then obtained the Chartered Accountant (CA) degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in 1998. Later, they became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Colorado, United States in 2003.
