Matthew Downey

Matthew Downey, CPA, CA, CBV, CFF, is a seasoned valuation expert currently serving as a Partner in the Valuations group at Fuller Landau LLP since January 2019. Matthew leads the preparation and oversight of business valuation and expert reports for various legal proceedings, including matrimonial cases and disputes among shareholders and partners. Previously, Matthew held managerial roles at MDD Forensic Accountants and Taylor Leibow LLP, focusing on valuation reports for matrimonial and corporate disputes, as well as income calculation expert reports. Matthew began their career as a Senior Staff Accountant at Adams & Miles LLP, where responsibilities included audits and tax filings. Matthew possesses an academic background that includes a B.Comm in Management Economics from the University of Guelph and a Diploma in Accounting from Wilfrid Laurier University.
