Matías Zalynas

Matías Zalynas is a Senior Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in backend development, primarily focused on the healthcare domain. Currently at Function Health since March 2024, Matías specializes in Python, enhancing core applications and system integrations, and is involved in redesigning solution architecture using Google Cloud Platform and microservices. Prior to this, Matías worked at HealthEdge, optimizing healthcare SaaS solutions, and at Encora Inc., enhancing digital preservation capabilities. Early career experience includes a significant role at Mercado Libre, where Matías improved product categorization across LATAM markets through backend API development. Matías holds a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad ORT Uruguay, obtained in 2019.
