Nnamdi Okeke has over 18 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Nnamdi began their career in 2002 as a Sales Representative at Emzor Pharma. In 2013, they took on the role of Community Pharmacy Intern at Target. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Clinical Pharmacist Intern at Providence Health & Services and the Portland VA Medical Center, and also served as an Adjunct Professor at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Postdoctoral Medical Scientist at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR), and then moved on to become an Oncology Medical Science Liaison at Teva Pharmaceuticals in 2019. In 2021, they joined Forma Therapeutics as a Medical Science Liaison, and most recently, in 2022, they were appointed as Vice President, Head of Global and Scientific Affairs, Sickle Cell Disease at Functional Fluidics.
Nnamdi Okeke began their educational journey in 2005 when they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Portland State University in 2009. Nnamdi then continued their studies at Oregon State University College of Pharmacy, where they earned a Doctor of Pharmacy in 2017. Finally, they earned a Master of Business Administration from the Oregon State University College of Business in 2019.
