Brett Shepherd

Brett Shepherd currently serves as the Chief Development Officer at the Fund for the Arts, a position held since August 2022. Previously, Brett held similar titles at Waterfront Botanical Gardens and Baptist Health System KY & IN, where major gifts and capital campaigns were a focus. Notable accomplishments at Kentucky Performing Arts include leading the Old Forester’s Paristown Hall capital campaign, which marked the first of its kind for the organization. Brett's experience also encompasses roles in music promotion through SHARK PRODUCTIONS, account management at The Learning House, and positions in fundraising and development for the University of Louisville and other organizations. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in History from Bellarmine University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Louisville, along with a certificate from the University of Oxford.
