Hester Derkx

Hester Derkx is a legal professional currently serving as Legal Counsel at funda since January 2023. Prior to this role, Hester held positions at Holla legal & tax from May 2019 to January 2023 as Advocaat Ondernemingsrecht and Juridisch medewerker Ondernemingsrecht. Hester began the professional journey as a Consultant in the Legal Division at Robert Walters from November 2018 to April 2019. A brief internship at Van Doorne in August and September 2018 provided experience in Sanctions Law and Internal Investigations. Hester's involvement with the Strafrechtelijke studievereniging M.P. Vrij as a board member lasted from June 2017 to June 2018, and earlier experience includes assisting a member of the Dutch House of Representatives from January to July 2015. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from Leiden University, a Master of Laws in Public Law with a focus on Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam, and completion of the Beroepsopleiding Advocaten.
