Lauren Golden

Historic Compliance Coordinator at Presidio Trust

Lauren Golden has a strong background in architectural history and historic preservation. Lauren is currently working as a Historic Compliance Coordinator at the Presidio Trust. Before joining the Presidio Trust, they were the owner of Golden Preservation Company, LLC, where they worked as an Architectural Historian for over 13 years. Prior to that, they were employed at Garavaglia Architecture, Inc. as an Architectural Historian for a year. Lauren also served as a member of the Board of Directors at Allentown Preservation League for seven years. Lauren gained experience as a Trail and Stewardship Manager at Delaware and Lehigh National Heritage Corridor for five years. Additionally, they worked as an Education Guide at Drayton Hall/National Trust for Historic Preservation for one year and as a Preservation Assistant at Noble Preservation Services, Inc. for seven months.

Lauren Golden has a strong educational background in the field of art and historic preservation. From 2007 to 2009, they attended Sonoma State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art History and Studio Art. Following this, they pursued their academic interests further by enrolling at Clemson University from 2010 to 2012. During this period, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Historic Preservation and Conservation.
