David Gutierrez

David Gutierrez is an accomplished legal and business professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the World Services Group and the Chair for Latin America, David is also a Co-Founding Partner and Resident Partner in Europe at BLP, overseeing the corporate and M&A practice. As the first President and Founding member of the BLP Pro Bono Foundation, David has established a notable impact in Central America. In addition to advisory roles at the International Bar Association and the Aspen Institute, David has held key positions at Amigos of Costa Rica and Fundación CRUSA, enhancing community and sustainable development initiatives. Recently appointed as an Adjunct Professor at IE Business School, David's academic contributions complement a strong legal background, underscored by advanced degrees from Georgetown University Law Center and Universidad de Costa Rica.
