Jakob Thomsen

Jakob Thomsen is an experienced journalist and editor, currently serving as the acting chief editor and founder of Filantropi since September 2024, and as the responsible chief editor and founder of Fundats since December 2015. Previously, Jakob worked as a journalist for Finansforbundet from January 2008 to May 2016 and for Økonomisk Ugebrev from August 2005 to April 2006. Early in the career, Jakob held positions as a societal economist at Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsen and as a senior analyst and fullmægtig at EKF Eksport Kredit Fonden. Jakob holds a Fagjournalist degree from Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole and an International Business degree from Copenhagen Business School, complemented by an HA degree from the same institution.
