Navita Persaud has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Navita started their career in 2004 as a Program Associate at NACCHO and worked there until 2007. From there, they joined Ryder System, Inc. as a Recruiting Services Coordinator for a brief period. In 2007, they also began working at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine as a Senior Research Associate I in the Center for Disaster & Extreme Event Preparedness until 2009. In 2010, they joined the Florida Department of Children and Families as an Economic Self-Sufficiency Specialist I until 2013. Since 2013, they have been working at The Funders Network in various roles, starting as a Program Associate and progressing to Senior Program Associate, Program Manager, and currently as the Director of Member Services.

Navita Persaud completed their education in a chronological order. Navita started their academic journey in 1999 at the University of Florida, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Health Science Education. Navita successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2002. Following their bachelor's degree, Navita enrolled at The George Washington University in 2002 and studied there until 2004. During this period, they pursued a Master's in Public Health (MPH) with a specialization in Maternal and Child Health.
