Darren Scanlon

Darren Scanlon, CPA, currently serves as Senior Manager of Accounting at Fundrise, a position held since November 2020. Prior to this role, Darren accumulated nine years of experience at EY, progressing from Associate to Senior Manager in Assurance Services. In this capacity, Darren specialized in auditing public and private real estate, hospitality, and construction clients, as well as engagements in the biotechnology sector. Responsibilities included leading teams in SEC and internal control reporting under Sarbanes-Oxley and overseeing integrated audits for various US public companies in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. Darren holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a minor in Management Information Systems from the University of Delaware, earned in 2011.
