Todd Carlson

Todd Carlson serves as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Chief Sales Officer at Funeral Directors Life (FDLIC) since February 2006, leading the company's funeral industry sales efforts and significantly increasing annual sales from $78 million in 2005 to over $500 million in 2023. Prior to FDLIC, Todd held positions such as Member of the Board of Directors at Passare Inc. and Preneed Services Director for the Minnesota Funeral Directors Association, where responsibilities included managing preneed programs and enhancing relationships with funeral directors. Additional experience includes roles as a Preneed Insurance General Agent, Regional Sales Director at Assurant, and Funeral Director at Shelley Funeral Chapel and Egesdal Funeral Homes. Todd holds a B.S. in Mortuary Science from the University of Minnesota.
