Chelsea Mannix has a diverse work experience. Chelsea is currently a Board Member at AALARA Inc since 2022. Previously, they worked at Funlab Pty Ltd for several years, starting as an HR and Training Support in 2004, then becoming an HR Manager from 2009 to 2012, and eventually rising to the position of Chief People Officer. Chelsea also worked as a Tour Guide at Brewer's Berlin Tours from 2007 to 2008 and as a Tour Leader at Topdeck Travel from 2002 to 2007, managing bus tours across Europe. Additionally, they worked at Entertainment Development Group as a Party Host, Duty Manager, Trainer & Recruiter from 1997 to 2000.

During the same period, they also attended Chisholm Institute of TAFE and earned a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing with a focus on Writing, General.
In 2005 to 2009, Chelsea returned to Monash University and completed a Bachelor of Letters (Hons) degree in History.
In 2012, they furthered their education by obtaining a Certificate IV Training and Assessment in Workforce Development and Training from Franklin Scholar. In the same year, they also attained certification as an MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) practitioner from CPP.
In 2018, Chelsea acquired a Mental Health First Aid certification from headspace.
Most recently, in 2019, Chelsea attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business and completed a program in Leading Change and Organisational Renewal, although no specific degree or field of study is provided.
