Juan Carlos Quintero

Juan Carlos Quintero currently serves as the Head of the Music Business & Communications Program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, starting in August 2024. With extensive experience in the music industry, Quintero has been a Music Producer and Composer at BMG - The New Music Company since January 2013 and for Warner/Chappell Production Music since 2009, where "Café Moondo" is a notable joint venture. In addition, Quintero holds the position of Executive in Charge of Music for the animated series "Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty" on Nickelodeon and has contributed to Megatrax as a Music Producer since 2018. From October 2021 to October 2023, Quintero was the Head of Music and Music Supervisor at Genius Brands International, following a similar role at Saban Brands from February 2010 to September 2018, where contributions included major projects like "The Power Rangers." Quintero also founded Moondo Records Inc. and has experience as a freelance guitarist and adjunct professor at College of the Canyons. Quintero holds a BM in Composition/Arranging from Berklee College of Music and furthered education at New England Conservatory of Music.
