Matt Harris

Matthew Harris is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in content production, curriculum development, and English language education. Currently serving as the Head of Content Production & Curriculum Development at Funzi since February 2022, Matthew oversees an e-learning course production team, collaborates with content partners such as Pearson, and customizes curriculum packages for educational partners globally. Matthew's previous roles include freelance English tutoring, a Launch Officer at VILPE where responsibilities included creating English-language marketing material, and a proofreader/editor for VILPE's marketing content. Additionally, Matthew has worked as a Diploma Examiner for the International Baccalaureate, a Senior Instructor at Capstone Educational Group, and Head of English at Carfax Education in Dubai. Matthew holds an MLitt. in Modern and Contemporary Literature and Culture from the University of St Andrews and a BA in English Literature from Queen Mary University of London.
