Mary Williams has extensive work experience in marketing and communication roles. Mary began their career as a Communication Specialist at News Media Corp in 2006, where they focused on graphic design, newspaper layout, and increasing corporate image and revenue. Mary later worked as a Communication Specialist at Schneider Electric, where they developed and supported strategic communication plans across various departments. In 2009, Mary joined KMK Media Group as a Communication Specialist, collaborating with clients to create strategic communication plans and support brand identity. Mary then transitioned to Ipsen USA as a Global Marketing Coordinator and Marketing Manager, where they successfully implemented marketing plans resulting in significant sales and bookings growth. Mary also served as a Board Member and Chair of the Marketing Committee at Spectrum School from 2019 to 2022. More recently, they held roles as Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Marketing and Communication at Furst Group, NuBrick Partners, and Salveson Stetson Group. In these positions, they were responsible for leading marketing strategies, managing branding activities, and overseeing social media engagement. Mary's diverse experience and expertise make their a valuable asset in the field of marketing and communication.
Mary Williams earned an M.A. in Communication from Northern Illinois University from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. in PR Journalism and Org/Corp Communication from the same university from 2002 to 2004. Mary also completed their A.A. in General Education Courses at Rock Valley College from 1998 to 2001. In addition, they obtained an Inbound Certified certification from HubSpot Academy in 2017. Mary has also obtained multiple certifications from LinkedIn, including training in diversity and inclusion, talent sourcing, and unconscious bias. The LinkedIn certifications were obtained in 2023.
