Will Porter

Will Porter currently serves as the Southeast Dairy Specialist at Furst-McNess Company, a position held since July 2021. Prior to this role, Will gained experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Masters Candidate at North Carolina State University from August 2019 to July 2021. Additional experience includes working as an employee at Southeast Ag Services Inc. and as a UGA Extension Intern at the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Will also held positions as a Student Worker at the UGA Meat Science Technology Center, a Lab Intern at the Georgia Department of Agriculture, and a Student Trainee at USDA. Will holds a Master's degree in Animal Sciences from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science in Dairy Science from The University of Georgia, complemented by an Associate's degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
