Ayesha Khanna

Co-Founder & Board of Directors at FUSE Corps

Ayesha Khanna has an extensive and diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Ayesha is currently the Managing Director of CARE Enterprises Inc (CEI), a subsidiary and impact investment arm of CARE USA. In this role, they are responsible for creating economic opportunities for people in poverty, with a particular focus on women, by investing in small businesses in emerging markets.

Prior to their current role, Khanna co-founded and served on the Board of Directors of FUSE Corps. FUSE Corps is an organization that helps local governments address significant social issues through the placement of entrepreneurial professionals in mayors' offices.

In 2019, Khanna joined Acumen, a global organization focused on poverty alleviation, as the Founder of the Civic Accelerator. Ayesha merged and digitized the national program and developed global accelerators to support early-stage innovators working on solutions for vulnerable populations.

In 2012, Khanna founded the Civic Accelerator, a bootcamp and investment fund for early-stage impact ventures. Through this program, they supported a portfolio of ventures addressing social problems such as economic mobility and digital inclusion.

Earlier in their career, Khanna served as the President of Civic Innovation at Points of Light, where they led efforts to develop and launch business profit centers and innovation initiatives. Ayesha was also the Finance Director for the Borders for Atlanta mayoral campaign and Co-Chair of the Women for Obama Atlanta Committee.

Khanna began their career at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as a Senior Manager, specializing in restructuring and redesigning organizations.

Throughout their career, Khanna has demonstrated a commitment to creating positive social impact and empowering women and marginalized communities.

Ayesha Khanna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and English from Franklin & Marshall College. Ayesha also obtained a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. Additionally, they completed a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership from Harvard Business School Executive Education.
