Deepu Venugopal

Deepu Venugopal is an experienced compliance and risk professional with a strong background in financial services. Currently serving as the Head of Compliance & MLRO at Fuse Energy since September 2023, Deepu previously held similar roles at FundRock from April 2019 to August 2023. Deepu's career includes significant positions such as Associate Director of Compliance Advisory at M&G Real Estate and Senior Associate at the Financial Conduct Authority. Deepu began the career as a Software Engineer at BearingPoint Consulting India before progressing to a Technical Consultant role at BearingPoint. Deepu holds a degree from Cass Business School, completed between 2008 and 2010, and an educational background from Mahatma Gandhi University.
