Chauncy Sapien

Chauncy Sapien has a diverse work experience spanning from their time in the United States Marine Corps as an Amphibious Assault Vehicle Crewmen from October 2008 to May 2013. Following their military service, they worked as a Math Tutor/Peer Advisor at MiraCosta College's Tutoring and Academic Support Center from July 2014 to June 2016. They then transitioned to becoming a Peer Advisor at UC Irvine from June 2017 to June 2019, where they provided guidance and support to veteran students and parents. They went on to join Raytheon Intelligence & Space as a Software Engineer I from June 2019 to August 2021, specializing in developing multi-language DevSecOps pipelines and creating instructional documentation. Currently, they are employed as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Fuse Integration starting in November 2021.

Chauncy Sapien started their education journey at MiraCosta College from 2013 to 2016, where they obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies. Following that, they attended UC Irvine from 2016 to 2020, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering. In 2021, Chauncy enrolled at LEARN Academy for a brief period, specializing in Full Stack Web Development. Additionally, they obtained certification in JavaScript Essential Training from LinkedIn in November 2021.
