Jason Thrasher

Jason Thrasher has a work experience spanning over a decade. Jason currently holds the position of Senior Cybersecurity Engineer at Fusion Connect since June 2021. Prior to their current role, they worked at Frontier Communications as a Cybersecurity Incident Response Engineer from June 2019 to June 2021, as a Senior Penetration Tester from December 2014 to May 2019, and as a Network Security Analyst from October 2012 to November 2014. Jason also had an internship at IBM - Global Business Services as an IT Specialist Intern from June 2012 to August 2012 and an internship at IBM as a Software Support Engineer Intern from March 2011 to August 2011.

Jason Thrasher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Security and Forensics from Rochester Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Arts degree in General Education from Palomar College between 1999 and 2004. In terms of additional certifications, Jason Thrasher obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate Cyber Ops (CCNA) certification from Cisco in July 2018 and the GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN) certification from SANS Institute in September 2014.
