Carlos Vaqueiro

Carlos Vaqueiro has extensive experience in sports management and organization, particularly in basketball and football. Currently serving as the Responsável de Planeamento e Organização Desportiva at FC Porto since July 2012, Carlos coordinates various sports planning activities and has taken on new responsibilities since 2017. Prior to FC Porto, Carlos worked as Coordenador Técnico e Desportivo Basquetebol at GD Gafanha for eight years and contributed to the development of basketball programs in the Concello de Vigo. Educational credentials include postgraduate studies in management and sports administration from institutions such as Católica Porto Business School and Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Carlos has a rich history in sports education and management, having begun a career in youth sports development in 1992.
