Clément Salaün is a co-founder at Formance, a role held since June 2021, following involvement in Selency as an investor and lead software engineer since March 2016. At Selency, Clément led the migration from a legacy payment processor to Stripe and developed payments-related features, while previously migrating a legacy Magento system to a microservices architecture to enhance business growth. Prior experience includes serving as a web developer at ZIP Agence digitale, where Clément architected and developed a social network for local guides, and a web developer intern at Lareza SA. Clément is also affiliated with Y Combinator, having started in June 2021, and holds a degree from École nationale supérieure d'architecture Paris-Malaquais from 2011 to 2012.
