Vesna Jelesic has over twenty years of experience in a variety of finance and accounting roles. Vesna began their career in 1996 as a Senior Accountant at Silver Chain Group, where they developed a new suite of reporting tools and reduced the month end close timeframe by two days. From 2000 to 2003, they held the role of Group Financial Accountant at Preston Resources Ltd and was responsible for the supervision and control of the accounting function, including financial management of the consolidated group, completion of statutory, regulatory and management reporting, budget/forecast preparation, and internal control framework. Vesna then moved to TXU Energy in 2003 as a Senior Financial Accountant to assist with the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards. In 2004, they joined ANZ as a Finance Manager for the Loyalty business, where they were responsible for financial management, including statutory and management reporting, budget preparation, internal control, and business partnering. Vesna then moved to National Australia Bank in 2006, where they held various roles, including Senior Manager, External Reporting & Assurance, Business Manager, Performance Management, and Senior Manager, Financial Reporting & Control. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at KPMG as a Senior Manager - Advisory Finance, and from 2015 to 2016, they were the Head of Finance and Administration at Bank Australia. Since 2020, they have been the Chief Financial Officer at Future First Technologies.
Vesna Jelesic holds a Certified Practising Accountant from CPA Australia, and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Finance, Management and Commercial Law from Deakin University.
