Lucas Newman is the current head of mobile at Future. Prior to that, they were an engineering manager at Apple for video products and a software engineer at Delicious Monster Software.
Newman has been in the tech industry since 2005 and has experience with a variety of products. Lucas was part of the team that built apps for video-related products on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV while at Apple. Their work on Delicious Library, a library cataloging application for the Mac, earned him acclaim within the tech community.
In 2007, Newman was involved in the unofficial "jailbreak" iPhone development community and wrote the first real game for iPhone, Lights Off. A derivative of that app still exists on the App Store today and is likely the oldest third party iPhone app in existence.
Newman's experience and skills have made him a valuable asset in the ever-changing world of technology. Lucas is currently using their talents to help lead Future into the future.
Some of their coworkers include Justin Santamaria - Co-Founder & CTO, Kevin Teng - Head of Performance Ops, and Natalie Jones - Chief of Staff. Their manager is Rishi Mandal, CEO.
