Nina Waage has a diverse range of work experience. Nina is currently a Global Program and Community Lead at Future Leaders Global, where they design and implements impactful programs and coordinates global city programs. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Lead & Head of Academia for the Future Leaders Program in Oslo, where they ensured the smooth running of gatherings for participants. Nina has also worked as an Administrative Coordinator for Norwegian CERN-research at the University of Oslo, supporting research and student activities at CERN. Nina has served as a Board Member for Tekna Climate, where they worked on marketing, arranging seminars, and creating meeting arenas. Nina participated in the Future Leaders Oslo leadership development program and worked part-time as a consultant in the Observation and Climate Division at Meteorologisk institutt. Nina has also held roles as a salesperson at Oslo Spektrum, a student representative at Ungforsk 2015, a salesperson at Ås stasjon, and a salesperson for Magnor Glassverk and Tilbords.
Nina Waage's education history includes a Videregående degree in Realfag from Øvrebyen VGS (2009-2012). Nina then pursued a Master of Science degree in Environmental Physics and Renewable Energy, specializing in Climate Physics, from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (2013-2019) and the University of Gothenburg (2018-2019). Additionally, they obtained a Student certificate in Personal Leadership from the Emergence School of Leadership (2020). Currently, they are studying a one-year Årsstudium program in Moderne Prosjektledelse at the Emergence School of Leadership (2022-2023).
