Garrett Owens

Garrett Owens is the current Chief Financial Officer at Future Street. Garrett has previous experience as a Finance Director, Financial Controller, and Accountant. Garrett has a long history of working in the financial industry, dating back to their work as an Accounts Trainee in Germany in 2001. In 2006, they began working for Travelport as an accountant and was quickly promoted to a management position. After a private equity acquisition, Garrett reorganised and integrated the finance function within the Travelport group. Garrett then left Travelport to join NeedaHotel.com as their Financial Controller in 2006. At NeedaHotel.com, Garrett partnered with the Managing Director to draft strategic plans and manage the sales pipeline. In 2008, Garrett joined 123.ie as their Finance Director. During their time at 123.ie, Garrett helped deliver a bottom line turnaround at the €100m online insurer. Garrett led the market on price and built demand optimisation while reducing costs by 30% over three years. Garrett also implemented a finance restructuring and SAP during their time at 123.ie. In 2017, Garrett left 123.ie to join Future Street as their Chief Financial Officer.

Garrett Owens has a Fellowship from the ACCA in Accountancy, a Master's Degree in Film from the Technological University Dublin, a Bachelor's Degree in English and Spanish from Trinity College Dublin, and a Certificate in Applied Digital Business from the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology. Garrett Owens is also certified by Lynda.com in Business Development Foundations.
