Karl Luck

Karl Luck has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to power systems and electrical engineering. Karl is currently working as a Design Director at Future-tech since 2019. Before that, they had a long tenure at WSP in the UK, where they held multiple roles. From 2007 to 2016, Karl served as the Director, Head of Power Systems, responsible for building a team and managing multiple projects. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Technical Director and Head of Power Systems Plus, leading a specialist team and overseeing its financial performance. Prior to their time at WSP, Karl was involved in power systems team management and project leadership at WSP Buildings from 2000 to 2007. Karl also had positions at Snamprogetti, Foster Wheeler Energy Ltd, and the Ministry of Defence (Navy) earlier in their career.

Karl Luck received their BSc (Hons) in Electrical Engineering from Cranfield University, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. Following their undergraduate degree, they pursued a Master of Science in Marine Electrical Engineering from the University of London, which they completed from 1981 to 1983.
