Julia Arlt (Parvanta) has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Julia began their career in 2015 as the Founder of Julia PropTech, where they focused on trends in PropTech, startup funding, and collaborations in real estate. In 2016, they joined Reed MIDEM as a committee member for the MIPIM Cannes, MAPIC, and Propel by MIPIM Awards. Julia then went on to work at PwC in 2017, taking on the role of Global Digital Real Estate Leader. During their time at PwC, they worked to enhance the development and experience of their 223,000 employees worldwide. In the same year, they also became a Startup Bridge Mentor at MetaProp.vc, a venture fund specializing in real estate technology. In 2017, they co-founded and became the Chairwoman of the Austrian PropTech Initiative (apti), an organization connecting founders of digital real estate business models in Europe. Julia organized the annual PropTech Vienna event and facilitated dialogues with the established real estate industry, investors, and media. In 2018, they joined the Leadership Board at CREtech, a platform for exploring the future of commercial real estate. Julia's passion for promoting innovation in the built world led their to co-found FuturePlace in 2020, a media, events, advisory, and sales enablement platform for the digital real estate industry. Julia took on the role of Co-Founder and Head of Global Partnerships, where they aimed to drive the transformation of the built world by promoting new ideas, solutions, and facilitating relationships. Julia also became a Guest Lecturer in Real Estate MBA classes at Columbia University in the City of New York in 2020, further contributing their industry knowledge and expertise. Additionally, Julia served as a Mentor in Real Estate Technology at Plug and Play Tech Center in 2020 and as a Board Advisor at spaceOS (acquired by Equiem) from April 2020 to May 2023. Julia Arlt (Parvanta) has a diverse education history in the fields of finance, international business administration, marketing, human resources, and hospitality administration/management. Julia first obtained a Diploma in Betriebswirt with a focus on Human Resources from Hochschule für Wirtschaft & Politik, which they completed between 1996 and 2000. Julia then pursued a Master's degree in European and International Business Administration with a concentration in International Management & Marketing from the University of Hamburg, which they completed from 2000 to 2013. Following this, Julia attended Hult International Business School in 2004 and earned an MBA with a specialization in Finance & Strategy. Additionally, between 1993 and 1996, they gained practical experience in Hospitality Administration/Management at the Marriott Hotel.
